8. Trust Your Muscle Memory

While doing this exercise it reminded me of my yoga classes that I used to take. Muscle memory has to do with repetition of physical movements. The exercise asked me to take a set of ten moves and repeat them for a couple days. After, doing this I noticed that it almost became a routine for me. I did not think that my body would ever learn something so quickly. Since I repeated the moves for a couple days my muscle memory taught me to remember the certain stances of the exercises. Just like the routines I used to do in yoga. Although, that was for a longer period of time and contained other complicated moves it still related to how my muscle memory works. Many people do not realize how important muscle memory is the power of it allows you to do certain things without even having to think about it. Your muscles are smarter than you think. As long as you trust your memory this routine will act as a memory aid for your mind. It will also allow you to be more creative, the more and more you do it your memory will increase on how well you remember the moves. This exercise was very interesting and felt like a stress reliever. Sometimes relaxing your body and working your memory is all you need to stay focused. It was a great way to figure out how well your muscle memory really is.
